$89, 1 BR

(Note: When you contact me, kindly include info about yourself, purpose of your stay, and the length of your stay. Thanks.)(My calendar/rate pages are dysfunctional, thus not up to date, except the room is available from 6/23 on; kindly contact me first for further availability/rate.) I'm looking preferably for woman-to-woman share; non-smoking, non-drinking, no-drug, no pet are a must. I'd like someone tidy, cleans after herself, respectful of others and their belongings, and willing to present a photo ID on check-in (professional/personal references may be required for a long-term stay). A minimum of a 2-week to 2-month stay between 6/23 and Sept. 30, and from October 20th on (1-month stay may work if it fits into the room's rental schedule). Check-in date can be moved up for a couple of days. Rent and security deposit amount vary depending on the length of your stay. Please feel free to Inquire within and/or refer to "Terms and Conditions." The room is fully-furnished, airy, sunny, spacious (11x19), energy-filled and private with a lovely view of Manhattan skyline up from Chrysler, UN, and Citicorp buildings; ideal for someone doing internship, language training, long-term traveling, schooling, or on a business trip. The room has all the essentials you may need for your stay: wi-fi (bring your own laptop with wireless function), queen size bed with comfy Dixie foam mattress (a comforter and 2 sets of linen can be loaned), CD/DVD player with a 17" monitor (32" TV in the LR), armchair, 2 desks, well-sized closet w lots of hangers and a 5-drawer chest, plants, lamps, piano, iron, iron board, hair dryer. A full access to kitchen facilities can be provided (pots n pans, toaster, drip n Frensh press coffee machines, microwave, stove n oven, rice cooker, water filter, dishes, bowls, glasses, cutleries, one-time welcome package including various brand of organic coffee and tea on check-in, etc.) Though it is a shared situation, the room offers a great privacy; the layout of the apartment makes the kitchen and the bathroom exclusively private to the occupant of the room (tucked in the south-western corner); you can freely in and out of the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom without ever bothering me or even seeing me who's working in the livingroom (freelance translator). I'm often away from my apartment due to personal/professional situations, which are subject to change, but not any time soon. My apartment is located in the Sunnyside Garden vicinity, 3 to 6 stops to mid-Manhattan, 2-minute walk to subway/bus stations (within 1.5 blocks); many people who stayed have been amazed how close Sunnyside is to be and around Manhattan, a truly central location, up and running neighborhood. Right off the NYC's major boulevard (Queens Blvd.), here you have both access to vibrant city life (mushrooming ethnic restaurants, bars, Irish pubs, cafes, etc.) and recess to country-like calm and relaxed environment. Please do not hestitate to send my way any questions you may have.
