Queens apt - 20 min to Manhattan!
$35, 1 BR

:::PLEASE READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION::: About the place: This apartment is located in Forest Hills, in Queens. Forest Hills is one of the safest and nicest neighborhoods in New York. And you have the subway train station right outside the building. It will take you to Manhattan in 20 minutes. Central Park in 25 minutes. To Times Sq in about 30 minutes. And Brooklyn in 45 minutes. If you're traveling on a budget, or you simply want to save your money for shopping this is the perfect location for you. Not only is it safe and convenient, you also get a chance to experience a part of NYC that tourists normally don't see.I'm a hospitality management major, and have a degree in tourism from Denmark. I was a tourist in NY 14 times before I moved here. So trust me when I tell you, that you won't be disappointed spending your vacation in Queens. My apartment is a junior one-bedroom. There's a spacious livingroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and my bedroom. You will be staying in the livingroom on a double high air mattress, that is comfortable even for two people. I will provide you with clean linens, towels and blankets so you don't need to bring that. Suitcases can be heavy as they are :) My building has a friendly doorman on duty from 2pm until 7:30 am. There's also a laundry room. Oh, and did I forget to mention that there's an elevator so you never have to worry about carrying those heavy suitcases up and down stairs. The surrounding block of my apartment has a CVS and Dunkin Donuts which are open 24/7. There's also a Starbucks, bakeries, italian, mexican and chinese take-out places which are actually really good! On top of that, we have dry-cleaning, pharmacies, Subway (yes, the sandwich place) and several supermarkets. One next to the apartment, one across, another one 3 minutes walk from the apartment and yet another one (much larger) 7 minutes away. You can also walk (or take a bus) to Trader Joe's, and Stop 'n Shop. One train station away (or 15 min walk) is Sears, Marshall's, Kohl's, TJMaxx, Century 21, Burlington etc.And two train stations away is North-East America's largest mall (I've been told) Queens Center Mall. There you'll find anything! I have guidebooks, and other books about New York. Some in Danish other in English that you're more than welcome to use. I also have maps. ---- About me:You'll be sharing with a danish female, a 27 year old student. I'm studying Hospitality Management, so I aim to be hospitable :) I'm a easy-going, private person. I like to share good places in New York, and help out with any request you might have. I also have a tendency of helping my guests create the best day-plans so if I'm around please ask me and I will love to help you out! Please feel free to contact for any questions! I'm most likely going to reply within a few hours or faster :) ref: 9AD648F16B12
